In order to enable smooth payments to the beneficiaries of PM-KISAN under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojna, J&K Bank’s all Treasury business units shall remain open on August 9, 2020 (Sunday) in the Union Territory of J&K and Ladakh.
Notably, on the initiative taken by the Prime Minister, the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, shall release the second four-monthly installment (August–November 2020) on 9th August 2020 (Sunday) through a single click, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojna to the already identified 8.5 Crore beneficiaries.
In order to facilitate smooth payments to the PM-Kisan beneficiaries, Jammu and Kashmir Bank shall keep all its Treasury branches open on Sunday 9th August in J&K and Ladakh and no other business activity shall be carried out on the day.
