JKHUAC felicitates Raj Baba Travels for receiving registration from Saudi Hajj Ministry

Jammu and Kashmir Association of Hajj and Umrah Companies (JKAHUC) on Friday held an event to felicitate the Raj Baba Tour and Travels for receiving the registration.

With the registration of first Srinagar-based company with the Saudi Arabia Government for the processing of visa for Hajj and Umrah, the travel agents can now receive the services from a local agent without going outside Kashmir. 

Jammu and Kashmir Association of Hajj and Umrah Companies (JKAHUC) on Friday held an event to felicitate the Raj Baba Tour and Travels for receiving the registration. 

Raj Baba Tour and Travels became the first company under JKAHUC who got registered with Hajj Ministry of Saudi Arabia and can facilitate visa for the Kashmir based companies.  

“Earlier we had to seek facility of registered agents from outside Kashmir, now with a Srinagar based company getting registered with the government of Saudi Arabia, it will benefit us both in context of time and economy, said a member of the JKAHUC. 

Javaid Ahmed owner of Raj Baba Tours and Travels Company was felicitated by the association in presence of various officials from J&K State Hajj Committee Including CEO, J&K State Hajj Committee, Qamar Sajad and Hajj officer Mohammad Maqbool. 

While speaking at the event, Qamar Sajad assured the service providers of full corporation from the authorities  related to Hajj and Umrah services.

JKAHUC informed that last year 18 thousands pilgrims performed Umrah through private companies during the months of January February and March in Kashmir division only and they are expecting 25000 pilgrims this year.
