Jammu and Kashmir State Cooperative Bank (JKSCB) organised iftar parties for its customers at cluster levels of the bank in different places.
In a statement, chairman of the bank, MS Dar, whileexpressing gratitude towards the participating customers, said that the veryessence of a cooperative bank is public participation at grass root levels.
“At JKSCB, we do not consider the bank as a mere financialinstitution but see it as an integral part of the social and cultural fabric ofthe society and it is with this vision that the bank regularly conducts formaland informal contact programmes with local populace especially in rural areas,”Dar said.
He said that the bank has always been open to ideasemanating from its clientele and it is being ensured that the policies andschemes are tailored as per the demands and expectations of the clientele.
Managing Director, M Lateif applauded the enthusiasm shownby his team in organising the iftar parties. He said that such events help usin strengthening the bond with our customers and create a family environmentamong local populace.
