JKTA holds 15th AGM: Tourist footfall from ASEAN countries up: Secy tourism

Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Alliance (JKTA) held its 15th annual general meeting on Saturday here.

According to a statement, JKTA during the meeting also held a felicitation ceremony  to honour veterans of the travel and hospitality sector, its founder members and past presidents besides media persons.

   

Secretary Tourism Rigzin Samphel was the chief guest on the occasion while as Secretary Youth Service and Sports Sarmad Hafeez and Special Secretary School Education Department, Mohammad Hussain Mir, Director Tourism Kashmir Tasaduq Jeelani, Deputy Directors Masrat Hashim and Sarfarz Mohammad, Mohammad Saleem Shishgar, Commissioner Secretary Culture were also present.

Speaking on the occasion Rigzin Samphel said tourist footfall from South East Asian countries was increasing which is an encouraging sign.

Earlier, Chairman JKTA Manzoor Pakhtoon delivered the welcome address while as its secretary general Tanveer Dar read out AGM report.
