Kashmir CAs fraternity holds blood donation, plantation drive

Kashmir Chartered Accounts (CA) body held a blood donation camp on the eve of 70th CA Day celebrations here on Monday at Srinagar Club.

During the event, plantation drive was also held.

   

Event was conducted under the supervision of Convener CAMubashir Ahmad Malik and Deputy Convenor CA Tauseef Ahmad Khanday. This is forthe first time that such an event was organized in Srinagar by Kashmir CAfraternity.

The event started with the flag hosting ceremony of theInstitute of Chartered Accountants of India followed by blood donation camporganised in collaboration with Government Bone and Joint Hospital, BarzullaSrinagar.

“This was our first such event and we wanted to contributeto society by holding a blood donation camp in which people participated withenthusiasm,” said Mubashir Ahmad Malik, convenor of the event.

Felicitation of new members who qualified as CharteredAccountants in the last three years was also done during the celebrations. Thefelicitation was followed by plantation drive where members planted saplings.The members and their families joined the celebration in the evening andparticipated in the various games and other entertainment programmes organisedby the fraternity.

Later certificates were also distributed among the blooddonors who came forward for the noble cause.
