In a bid to promote Kashmir tourism on international market, the MD JKTDC and Director Tourism Kashmir, Farooq Shah interacted with Indian ambassadors to Thailand, Singapore, Tanzania and UAE.

On the sidelines of the OTM in New Delhi, Director Tourism Kashmir Farooq Ahmad Shah met the ambassadors and requested them to use their good offices for promotion of Kashmir tourism in the respective countries.

Shah requested the ambassadors to facilitate the visitors from those countries by providing them with all necessary information about the tourist destinations of the country particularly Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The ambassadors assured Director Tourism Kashmir all help in this regard, a statement here said.

Earlier, Director Tourism Kashmir had interacted with Indian travel trade agents in Mumbai during Travel and Tourism Fair, OTM, urging them to promote Kashmir in a big way.

 

Meanwhile, at TTF/OTM New Delhi Kashmir is being promoted as ‘Best of All, All the Best’ destination.

The world famous tourism platform TTF/OTM at New Delhi has more than 150 participants from across the world.

 

The tourism trade fraternity from all three regions of the state have been provided space in the exhibition.

The three day event will witness huge participation from all over the country and abroad.

 

Meanwhile, Shah said such efforts to promote Jammu and Kashmir at national and international level will continue.
