A delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce (KCCI) members Saturday called on Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan to discuss various issues confronting traders.
According to an official spokesperson, the DivisionalCommissioner informed the members that the government had dedicated Mughal Roadfor small vehicles and fruit-laden trucks till the National Highway is fullyrestored. He assured that all strandedvehicles on the highway would soon be cleared.
Earlier, KCCI members appraised the Divisional Commissionerabout their demands. Giving a patient hearing, the Div Com assured thedelegation that their concerns would be taken care of for the betterment of theeconomic sector in the Valley.
The Divisional Commissioner said that he would hold weeklymeetings with KCCI members on every Saturday to listen and redress issues, ifany faced, by the business fraternity.
