The field executives of Legal Metrology department intensified the market inspections across Kashmir and booked 272 erring traders for violating Legal Metrology Laws.
In a statement the department said that 1814 market inspections were conducted to detect the violations. A penal sum of over Rs 7 lakh was collected from the erring traders.
