MSME DI to provide CFCs for J&K hoteliers

Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME DI), on Sunday, said that it will provide common facility centres (CFCs) for the hoteliers of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an official spokesperson, a meeting in thisregard was convened by Assistant Director, MSME DI, Saheel Allaqband at HotelRadisson, Srinagar, with the Hoteliers Club where many proposals were discussedfor establishing Common Facility Centre like laundry facility, solar, etc.

   

The MSME DI official said the Union Ministry of MSME wassupporting MSEs of Jammu and Kashmir through MSE-CDP Scheme by extendingfinancial support up to 90 percent to an extent of Rs 15 crore through thecreation of Common Facility Centres as per guidelines.

“Creation of common facility centres for MSEs bothmanufacturing and service enterprises can boost industrial development in thestate,” Allaqband said.

Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club, Mushtaq Chay,who was present in the meeting, said such initiatives would change the serviceindustry and also generate employment in the state.
