Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI) on Friday organised District Udyam Samaagam (DUS) under the theme “the future belongs to entrepreneurs”, here at SKICC.
The programme was attended by a number of state governmentdepartments including MSME, DIC’S, KVIB, KVIC, SIDCO, SICOP, Handicrafts, JKEDITechnical education, University of Kashmir, NIT, and JKEDI, besides,entrepreneurs from major industrial Associations.
In inaugural address deputy director MSME DI Jammu, AshwaniKumar elaborated on measures being taken by the Ministry for Industrialdevelopment on ground level by developing various institutes. He saidentrepreneurs should be encouraged and supported.
Principal Polytechnic College Budgam Shaista Shamim, Dy CEO KVIB Muzaffar Allaqband and Arif Khan JKEDI, also addressed the participantson the occasion.
