A three-day exhibition organized by POASH began on Saturday at SKICC here.
As per the organizers, Poash has two main dimensions; PoashExhibition and Poash Baithak and the main focus of Poash Exhibition is to provide an opportunityand a platform to women entrepreneurs to highlight their achievements and products, said organizers.
“One of the major ideas was to establish women led and women focused mentorship network and torecognize different entrepreneurial opportunities for women in Kashmir,” said the organizers.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Additional DC Srinagar K KSiddha and Director Industries and Commerce Kashmir Mahmood Ahmad Shah
Poash is the brainchild of Asma Wali who has put in hereffort to revive the women entrepreneurship movement in the state.
In this exhibition the exhibitors are not only for the statebut exhibitors from other states and also from South East Asia and Turkey
More than 45 established business houses, designers , 25start ups, 25 artists and 30 budding entrepreneurs participated in theexhibition.
