RBI conducts exposure programme for cooperative banks in J&K

Reserve Bank of India’s college of agricultural banking conducted a marathon ‘exposure programme’ for cooperative banks in Jammu and Kashmir.

The five day event was conducted from 23 July at the corporate headquarters of the state cooperative bank. It was attended by the officers of all the cooperative banks of the state.

   

The principal objectives of the programme was to provide the participants an insight on the importance of financial inclusion, risk management and profit planning, etc, a cooperative bank handout said.

The programme was inaugurated by M S Dar, chairman state cooperative bank. 

At the valedictory ceremony, MD state cooperative bank, M Lateif while distributing certificates of participation, thanked the RBI faculty as well as guest lecturers from NABARD and other banks for the smooth conduct of the programme.

He said the issues discussed were very much relevant to the present business scenario. Lateif requested the CAB faculty that such programmes be organised regularly and promised all support from state cooperative bank.
