SKUAST-K holds entrance for undergraduate courses

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) Sunday conducted entrance test for its undergraduate courses in agriculture and allied fields for the academic year 2019.

The entrance test was held in 17 centres across Jammu andKashmir for Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary Sciences,Agriculture Engineering, Sericulture and Fisheries courses.

   

As many as 9024 candidates had applied through online modefor seeking admission to various undergraduate degree programmes of theuniversity.  Out of this 92 percentstudents took part in the professional entrance test, a spokesperson of theuniversity said.

Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-K, Prof Nazeer Ahmed accompanied byProf MH Wani registrar, Prof Shakeel Ahmad Wani, Director Education, and ProfSarfaraz Ahmad Wani, Controller of Examinations visited some of these Centresto assess about measures for smooth conduct of the test.

Vice-Chancellor expressed his satisfaction and thankedprincipals and heads of the institutions of different colleges andinstitutions, their staff for extending cooperation for smooth conduct of thetest.  He also expressed his gratitude toadministration for its cooperation and to one and all in the university whowere directly or indirectly involved with the process of the conduct ofentrance test.
