SKUAST-K holds training for tribal farmers

SKUAST-K faculty of veterinary sciences Shuhama, in collaboration with KVK, Bandipora, on Friday held a training programme for tribal farmers for increasing efficiency of dairy cattle and fodder production.

The programme was organised under the DBT sponsored projecton augmentation of household income through improvement of productionefficiency.

   

The training was inaugurated by Mushtaq Ahmad, DirectorExtension, SKUAST-K, in presence of Dr PeerzadaShafat Hussain Deewani,Programme Coordinator and Prof Pankaj Goswami, Principal Investigator and otherCoPIs of the project.

Pankaj Goswami, PI of the project briefed the farmers aboutthe activities to be carried out under the sponsored project at the Bandiporaarea.  The package of practices on foddercrops on Maize and Oat were also distributed to the farmers for easy farmingactivities in scientific way.
