SKUAST-K ranked 13th among all-India agri universities

SKUAST-K Scientists and Teachers Association (SSTA) have congratulated the scientist fraternity, students and the officers of SKUAST-K for the university being ranked 13th on all India basis.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, hasbrought out the ranking of the 63 state agricultural universities in thecountry in which the SKUAST-K has been ranked 13th.

   

“Teachers, research management, universityadministration  along with the studentsand scholars toiled hard to improve the annual ranking of the university thatraised from 27th rank last year to the 13th this year,” president SSTA, Prof SADar said.

Dar also appreciated the efforts of Vice-Chancellor,SKUAST-K and the entire university administration for achieving the grand feathoping the varsity shall find its place within first five universities in thenext annual ranking.

SSTA have also congratulated Dr Ambreen Hamadani, PhDScholar FVSc, SKUAST-K, who became one of the winners of the ‘India InnovationGrowth Programme (IIGP) 2.0 – University Challenge 2019’. The student receiveda citation and a cheque of Rs. 10.00 lac on behalf of SKUAST-K at an awardceremony held at New Delhi for her novel idea of using artificial intelligencein farm management system.
