The Department of Mining, J&K Government today extended the time period for completing formalities by successful bidders of e-auction in whose cases the list of intents have been issued by February 28, 2021.
As per the Mining Department the sanction has been accorded to the extension in time period for completing the requisite formalities upto 28.02.2021 or six months from the date of issuance of Letter of Intent, whichever is later in favour of the successful bidders of e-auction in whose case the Letter of Intent has been issued, in relaxation of Rule 55 (9) of the Jammu and Kashmir Minor Mineral Concession, Storage, Transportation of Minerals and Prevention of Illegal Mining Rules, 2016.
