Additional Secretary Tourism Prasana Ramaswamy and Director Tourism Kashmir Nisar Ahmed Wani Tuesday reviewed preparations for Zanaskar Tourism Festival to be held on July 29-30 at Zanskar.
The festival is being organised for the promotion of tourismand revival of culture and traditional games of the region. The officers alongtheir team visited the venue at Katsha Mani Ringmo, at Zanaskar where the mainfunction is to be held. The team also had an elaborate meeting withstakeholders including tour operators, guides, guest house owners and localofficials.
Concerned officers were directed to work in a coordinatedand dedicated manner to ensure foolproof and timely arrangements to make theevent a success. SDM Zanskar, ADT Zanskar, officials at Zanaskar DevelopmentAuthority o were directed to complete all pending works in time.
