In an effort to bring Kashmir tourism back on track post floods, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Alliance (JKTA) Saturday evening held a mega promotional seminar here to attract tourists from this region to visit Kashmir.

The seminar ‘Kashmir: Nature’s Misty Meadow’ was attended by prominent tour operators and senior members of Maharashtra tourism fraternity.

The Director Tourism department Kashmir and MD JKTDC Farooq Ahmad Shah was the chief guest. President JKTA Manzoor Ahmad Pakhtoon urged the Mumbai tour operators and national print and electronic media to help promotion of Kashmir tourism in a big way.

Farooq Shah informed the audience that most of the hotels in Srinagar were not hit by the floods. “I want to inform you that we have restored our tourism infrastructure, hotels, restaurants and we are ready to serve any number of tourists with best service qualities and facilities,” he added.
