One person was killed and four others injured in two separate road accidents in this district on Monday.
A police official said Atta Muhammad, son of Gulam Rasool of Degoh Ramban was killed and another injured after a dumper plunged into gorge at Meghdhar on Haroog-Sumber link road.
Meanwhile, three persons sustained injuries after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a ravine near Seri on Jammu-Srinagar Highway this afternoon.
Police said a Maruti car (Registration No JK01G-1478) was on its way to Ramsu from Ramban when the driver lost control on its steering. “Three persons including the driver were injured in the accident.”
Police identified the injured as Rajesh Singh son of Balak Singh, Jeevan Singh son of Bansi Lal and Gulab Singh son of Pyar Singh, all residents of Bajmasta district Ramban.
