Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday rescued 11 bovine animals and arrested two drivers during naka checking in this district on Jammu-Srinagar Highway.
According to police, a TaTa mobile vehicle (JK19-5915) and other having temporary number were intercepted at police check post Ramban. During checking of the vehicles, 11 animals crammed in them were rescued, police said. Drivers of the vehicle have been booked in separate cases registered vide FIRs under section 188 RPC and 3 PC registered at police station Ramban and further investigation taken up, they added.
