2 injured in Doda road accident

Two persons including an employee of sheep husbandry department were injured when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district on Thursday.

A police official said the accident occurred near Malhori,20-km from Doda town, on Batota-Kishtwar highway.

   

He said a car (Registration No JK06 -5058) was on way toBatote from Premnagar. When the car reached near Malhori village, the driverlost control of the vehicle which fell into nallah, resulting in seriousinjuries to both the persons,” said Munir Khan, SHO Doda. He said a policeparty rushed to the spot and rescued both the injured persons. They were rushedto GMC Doda for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Dhanater Singh ofPuneja-Chirala and Rattan Singh, the employee of Sheep Husbandry department,resident of Prem Nagar.
