A rally for recruitment in territorial army for the youth of Chenab Valley, slated to be held at Sports Stadium Doda from Tuesday (February 12), has been cancelled due to heavy snowfall in entire region.
According to a statement, the rally was scheduled from February 12 to 20, but due to heavy rain and snowfall on February 6 and 7, besides predictions for inclement weather conditions in next few days, 159 infantry battalion Dogra has decided to cancel the rally.
A spokesperson said that fresh dates and schedule of recruitment rally will be intimated later.
