Army porter injured in cross-LoC firing in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri

An army porter was wounded after the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

The injured porter was identified as Surjeet Kumar son of Ashok Kumar of Deeing village of Kalal, Nowshera.

   

Greater Kashmir has learnt that Surjeet was posted as a porter in a forward location of LoC in Kalal.

An official said the injured porter is presently under treatment at a local army hospital.
