Body of a missing trader of Banihal was found in Katra area of Jammu on Friday after the residents held protests seeking whereabouts of the person.
SSP Ramban Anita Sharma told Greater Kashmir that the deadbody of missing trader, Gulam Rasool Wani of Banihal, has been recovered fromhigher reaches of Tikri area on the instance of a detained suspect.
Earlier in the day, a protest was held at two places forseeking whereabouts of the trader who was missing from Jangal Gali area ofKatra since 11 July.
The residents of Tethrar and highway town Banihal heldprotest and downed shutters of their business establishments urging police andadministration to trace the missing person.
