The Banihal-Srinagar rail service remained suspended for the second consecutive day on Saturday, due to which hundreds of passengers faced problems.
The authorities, on the recommendations of civil and policeadministration, had suspended the rail service after three militants werekilled by security forces in Imamsahib area of district Shopian on Fridaymorning.
The train service was suspended from Friday morning, keepingin view safety of public property and that of passengers as well.
Due to the suspension, the commuters complained of havingbeen put through hardships.
