Train service resumes in Kashmir after three-day suspension

The Banihal-Srinagar rail service remained suspended for the second consecutive day on Saturday, due to which hundreds of passengers faced problems.

The authorities, on the recommendations of civil and police administration, had suspended the rail service after three militants were killed by security forces in Imamsahib area of district Shopian on Friday morning.

The train service was suspended from Friday morning, keeping in view safety of public property and that of passengers as well.

Due to the suspension, the commuters complained of having been put through hardships.
