Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana, today issued an order imposing restrictions on washing of clothes, utensils and vehicles at water point near Ram Mandir Kishtwar to prevent contamination of the water.
The order came in the backdrop of the complaint filed bypeople of the area regarding the water being contaminated due to washing ofclothes, utensils and vehicles, creating a lot of nuisance in the area besidesleading to various health hazards. It has also lead to disruption in thetraffic movement due to parking of vehicles alongside the road.Deputy Commissioner has also directed TehsildarKishtwar, SHO Kishtwar and EO Municipal Committee Kishtwar to ensureimplementation of the said order in letter and spirit.
