Peoples Democratic Party leader Firdous Tak Monday urgedupon the divisional as well as district administration to depute teams to tracea youth who went missing on February 28 while he was on way to Warwan through MarganTop.
“20-year-old Alatf Hussain Wani of Busmina, Warwan, leftLarno in Anantnag on February 28. He was coming home via foot and wasaccompanied by 15 other labourers, who were en route Himachal Pradesh,” AftiMohammad Rajab Rather, a resident of Warwan said, adding that the labourersreached their respective homes, but Wani didn’t.
The locals, while quoting the labourers accompanying Wani,said, “It was snowing heavily at Margan Top during that time. They all gotseparated. That was the last time anyone saw Wani or heard about him.”
Meanwhile, PDP leader Firdous Tak, on being contacted by theresidents of Warwan, urged the district and divisional administration to deputeteams from Anantnag and Warwan and trace the missing youth.
