The District Magistrate Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana, Wednesday imposed a ban on the transportation of bovine across the district, in exercise of the powers under section 144 CrPC.
The order issued by DM read, “”No bovine animal, suchas cow, ox, calf, buffalo, be transported from Kishtwar to other districts,except with the prior permission of District Magistrate/Additional DistrictMagistrate, Kishtwar.”
The order shall come into force with immediate effect andshall remain in force for a period of two months or till it is rescinded,whichever is earlier, the order states.
BANS ON EXTRACTION FROM NALLAH BEDS
The District Magistrate also imposed complete ban on theextraction of minor minerals here in and around Zundil and Shalimar Nallahbeds.
As per an order issued in this regard, the DM has directedTehsildar and SHO to ensure the implementation and initiate stern actionagainst the violators.
