Dr Jitendra’s visit to Ramban marred by poor road connectivity

Member Parliament from Udhampur-Doda and minister of state (MoS) in Prime minister’s office, Dr Jitendra  Singh, who was scheduled to address some DDC poll meetings, cut short his visit due to poor road connectivity and traffic jam along Jammu Srinagar national highway on Sunday.

According to officials, the MoS was going to address gatherings at Gam Seri and Balihote returned midway without going and delivering a speech.  The BJP sources said that the link road leading to Gam and Balihote was closed due to mud and landslides besides Jammu Srinagar National highway also witnessed the worst traffic jam since Sunday morning after vehicular traffic was allowed to ply on highway.
