A drug peddler was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA), Ramban police said.
Police identified the peddler as Bahar Ahmed Dar son of Sonaullah Dar, a resident ofDarpora tehsil Banihal.
Police said the arrested person is a “habitual narcoticsmuggler and history-sheeter.”
SHO police station Banihal, Aijaz Wani told Greater Kashmirthat six different FIRs stand registered under NDPS act, rioting, robberyagainst the offender at Police Station Banihal.
Police claimed the offender is also “on the forefront ofantinational activities and often leads anti-national processions, rallies andprotests in Banihal town.”
Bhar was arrested and lodged in Kot Balwal jail Jammu.
