As many as 180 sheep and goats of a nomad Bakarwal reportedly died by the lightning in Khari tehsil here during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sources said that 180 sheep and goats of Nazir AhmedBakarwal son of Majeed Ahmed Bakarwal of village Garh Reasi, were killed atAbalkote-Sarkantha top, Khari tehsil where he had taken them for grazing.
“The lightning struck in the intervening night of Tuesdayand Wednesday,” they said.
Nazir Ahmed confirmed the killing of the livestock.
