A man suffered critical injuries after the car he was driving plunged into a gorge, here in Kishtwar district.
Incharge Shalimar police post, Naseer Ahmad, said, “ShahFaisal of Patherniki Galhar village was on his way to his home when his Altocar, JK17 6793, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Wadra Bridgeon the Batote-Kishtwar highway. The accident occurred at around 12:15 am.”
The officer said that locals and the Red Cross volunteersevacuated the injured driver from the severely damaged vehicle and shifted himto sub-district hospital.
The man is undergoing treatment and he is out of danger, theofficer said.
