Ashok Kumar Shavan, District Legal Services Authority (DSLA) Chairman here on Tuesday issued instructions to restrict unnecessary entry of people in the court premises in Doda district, as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of Coronavirus.
The presiding officers, judicial employees, Bar members of Doda district were been directed to restrict unnecessary entry of people in the court premises.
Beside, judicial officers have been directed to take all necessary measures to sanitise the court buildings.
The District Bar Association Bhadarwah has been asked to request the litigants not to visit the courts unless their presence is sought in the court.
Shavan said the presiding officers have also been directed that they shall not insist upon personal presence of the parties unless it was absolutely necessary.
He informed that Lok Adalats, legal services programmes and mediations programmes have been suspended till further orders.
He informed that out of four entrances to the court premises, three has been closed down to avoid unnecessary gathering in the court complex.
