PDP man claims life threat from party men for voting in local body polls

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rajouri district spokesperson Tazneem Dar on Wednesday claimed of receiving life threats from his own party men after he voted in the ongoing local body polls in the state.

Dar, while addressing a presser here said after voting in local body polls, he received threats from various quarters.

   

Dar claimed some leaders even from his own party PDP are threatening him after he voted in ongoing local body polls. “They can kill me, damage me or assassinate my character for which I am addressing this press conference,” he said.

“My party boycotted these polls. We played no role in elections,” said Dar, adding “some leaders are issuing baseless statements against him for putting candidates in these elections”.

“We were in complete boycott of elections as it was announced and decided by our party higher command,” he added.
