The incessant rains and snowfall in several parts of Ramban district have thrown life out of gear here.
The basic amenities including electricity and water supply have been affected in these areas. High altitude areas of the district experienced moderate to heavy snowfall on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
Banihal Gool Batote Patinitop experienced season first snowfall in the night of Sunday and Monday which blocked many circuit roads of the district rain lashed Ramban town Chanderkote on Sunday evening bringing the mercury down and also causing traffic snarls in various parts of the highway from Ramban to Batote.
MeT officials said the minimum temperature recorded as 4 degrees minis health resort Patnitop Gool Banihal and Jawahar tunnel remained most cool due to cool and snowfall.
