After fresh snowfall on Sunday night, the hurdle rises for the people of Marwah, Warwan, Dacchan and Padder, who have been stranded in Kisthwar for past several days.

The transportation was already defunct due to the heavy snowfall in these areas, where the fresh snowfall completely shuttered down the road connectivity.

While talking to Greater Kashmir, several people including government employees of Marwah and Warwan, stranded here said they have been waiting at the airport for their turn to reach to their native places. "We heard nothing from the administration even as we have been waiting for airlifting since early morning in the morning", they said.

They lamented that the district administration is not giving proper directions to the Air force for airlifting them. However, they admitted that the Air force has picked stranded patients from Machail and Padder for the advance treatment at district Hospital Kishtwar.

An Air Force official wishing anonymity said: "We are waiting for the orders of the district administration for airlifting the stranded passengers for Marwah and Warwan".

The stranded passengers appealed to district administration Kishtwar and divisional commissioner Jammu to take up their issue on priority basis.
