After remaining closed for few hours due to landslides, traffic on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was restored on Monday afternoon.
Official said that the National Highway Authority afterclearing slide at Cafeteria morh Ramban allowed the movement of strandedvehicles at 12 noon.
Hundreds of vehicles were allowed to move towards Kashmir.The landslide at Cafeteria morh ahead of Ramban town caused frequent trafficdisruption for several hours on Monday morning and afternoon. However, the traffic movement wasrestored in the evening. Massive traffic jam was witnessed on highway atChanderkote Peera Karool till afternoon and Ramsu- Banihal sector till latethis evening. The highway got closed after landslide at Cafeteria morh ahead ofRamban town and shooting stones at Battery Chasma on early Monday morning.
