Tehsil Supplies Officer (TSO) Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Banihal on Friday imposed ban on the sale and purchase of commodities coming from Valley Kashmir in the area.
“In view of COVID-19 as well as currentemergency and prevailing situation everything coming from Kashmir valley hasbeen completely banned in Banihal and Khari tehsils of Ramban district,” readthe order issued by the TSO’s office addressed to president of shopkeepersassociation Banihal.
The TSO ordered the association for notbuying anything non-local until tested by the concerned authorities.
He warned in case of non-compliance oforder action under law will be taken against the violators.
