Two bootleggers were arrested by Police Patrol party with 109 pouches of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) near Khow Bag crossing outskirts of Ramban town on late Tuesday night.
A police official said that a Police patrol party of Ramban Police Station on its routine patrolling found two persons coming from Bowali Bazar towards Khow Bagh crossing carrying a gunny bag in suspicious manner. Their belongings were searched. During the search police recovered 109 pouches of IMFL which they were carrying illegally for selling at different places of the town.
Both the accused were arrested. A case FIR number 14 under section 48(A) Excise Act stands registered against them at Police Station Ramban.
