Two students riding a motorcycle were killed in an accident on Batote-Kishtwar highway in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, police said.
An official said that the students were on way to Doda from Gandoh when their motorcycle was hit by a tempo coming from opposite direction near Prem Nagar – 20 km from Doda – at 10:15 am.
The deceased were identified as Mohd Ashan (19) son of Abdul Latief and Mohd Irfan (18), son of Mushtaq Ahmed – both residents of Bisran, Gandoh.
