Resident of Kathidarwaza and its adjacent areas have appealed to deputy commissioner Srinagar to direct concerned authorities to restore complete construction of drainage system in the area.
A delegation from the area led by Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Khan saidthat the under construction drain has choked narrower road there.
“This drain at Kathidarwaza is under construction formore than three months causing lot of inconvenience to the road users. This isthe only approach road to Badamwari park, Psychiatric hospital, Makhdoom sahab (RA) shrine andinside Kathidarwaza,” said Dr Mushtaq. “Ironically, the authorities have stoppedthe work on the project,” they said.
