Awami Action Committee (AAC), Anjuman-e-Auqaf (AeA) Jamia Masjid and Anjuman-e-Nusratul Islam (ANI) today held a joint meeting at Mirwaiz Manzil, Nigeen, here under the chairmanship of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to finalise the programme in connection with the upcoming Hafta-e-Shahadat (martyr’s week) commencing from May 16.
The programme is organised to pay rich tributes toShaheed-e-Milat Moulana Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq (RA) and the victims of Hawalmassacre of May 21,1990.”All the members of the AAC, AeA and ANI werepresent in the meeting. They deliberated upon giving final touches to theprogram in connection with observing the 29th martyrdom anniversary ofShaheed-e-Milat and Hawal martyrs. All the participants stated that as per thetradition, this year also, martyr’s week will be observed with the same passionand zeal. The day-wise program of martyr’s week will, however, be issuedseparately,” the statement issued by the AAC, in a statement today, said.
