CEO Rahim Motors and environmental activist Abdul Hamid has been invited for participation in United Nations ‘SDG Global Festival of Action’ to be held at Bonn in Germany from May 2-4.
“We are delighted to confirm your participation in the festival. Each and every Festival-goer is an active participant, contributor, and co-creator of the content and critical conversations that will take place at the event,” read the letter issued by the conference organisers.
The SDG Global Festival of Action is a ground-breaking annual event powered y the UN SDG Action campaign with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Federal Foreign Office.
Abdul Hamid, who is also popularly known as Rahim Greens for his environmental activism in Kashmir, is participating in the conference for the second consecutive time this year. From the past few years, Abdul Hamid has been planting thousands of trees each spring across Kashmir and creating environmental awareness.
Around 1,500 people from across a range of sectors, specialism and regions are participating in the conference to discuss UN’s target of achieving sustainable development goals.
