CEO Rahim Motors and environmental activist Abdul Hamid hasbeen invited for participation in United Nations ‘SDG Global Festival ofAction’ to be held at Bonn in Germany from May 2-4.
“We are delighted to confirm your participation in thefestival. Each and every Festival-goer is an active participant, contributor,and co-creator of the content and critical conversations that will take placeat the event,” read the letter issued by the conference organisers.
The SDG Global Festival of Action is a ground-breakingannual event powered y the UN SDG Action campaign with the support of theGerman Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and theGerman Federal Foreign Office.
Abdul Hamid, who is also popularly known as Rahim Greens forhis environmental activism in Kashmir, is participating in the conference forthe second consecutive time this year. From the past few years, Abdul Hamid hasbeen planting thousands of trees each spring across Kashmir and creatingenvironmental awareness.
Around 1,500 people from across a range of sectors,specialism and regions are participating in the conference to discuss UN’starget of achieving sustainable development goals.
