One more positive cases of COVID19 has been reported in Kargil district of Ladakh, taking the total number of patients in the district to 3, officials said on Thursday.
Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel said, “The person isfrom Chikthan area of Kargil and was already under hospital quarantine after hewas found symptomatic. A health team has been sent to the area for contacttracing.”
He said that the person has no travel history, however asper initial reports he was in contact with a few people who had returned fromIran recently.
“With one more positive case in Kargil, a lot moreneeds to be done to break this chain,” said DC Kargil Baseer ul Haq Chaudharyin a tweet.
