178 students, including 108 from Govt schools, share merit list

As many as 178 students from government as well private schools have shared the merit list of top 10 positions in all the streams of class 12th examination, the result of which was declared by JK Board of School Education (BOSE) on Monday. As many as 108 students from government schools also figure in the merit list.

As per the figures, 124 students – 92 girls and 32 boys – have bagged the first 10 positions in Science stream. These include 70 students from government schools.

   

The first position in Science stream is shared by four students who have scored 500 out of 500 marks. These include Amal Sayeed from Candid Higher Secondary School (HSS) Nowgam, Hafsa Malik from Iqbal Memorial Institute (Girls Wing) HSS Bemina, Ishrat Muzafar from Kashmir Harvard HSS Habak Srinagar and Zainab Quadri of Salfia Muslim Institute Parray Pora.

The second position holders have scored 498 marks out of 500. The position has been shared by Ahsaan Ahmad Ahanger from Fayaz Educational Institute Nowgam, Aneeq Irfan Mir from government HSS Zainakote, Azra Amin Zargar from Saint Joseph’s HSS Baramulla, Faheem Ul Islam from government HSS Bomai, Gazala Javaid from Muslim Educational Institute HSS Pampore, Hadia Khan from Mallinson Girls HSS Srinagar, Rabiya Khan and Samreen Jan from S.R.M Welkin Education Trust, Sopore and Willayat Hussain from S P HSS Srinagar.

The 3rd position has been shared by 6 students- Areeba Javeed from Kashmir Harvard HSS Habak Naseem Bagh, Rehana Rashid from government HSS Shogapora, Sadaf Zaman and Wafa Rasool from Presentation Convent HSS Rajbagh, Tahira Majeed from government girls HSS Magam and Umar Farooq Bhat from government HSS Hakura Anantnag. All have scored 497 marks out of 500.

As many as 23 students-Girls 17 and 6 boys – have bagged the first three positions in Commerce stream. These include 17 students from government schools.

The first position has been bagged by Zeenat Fayaz of government girls HSS Nawa Kadal and has scored 493 marks of 500.

The second position has been shared by Faleen Mushtaq of government girls HSS Nawa Kadal and Naimah Bashir Shah of Green Valley HSS Ellahi Bagh Srinagar by scoring 490 marks.

The 3rd position has been shared by Hadiya Showket and Saqiba of government girls HSS Khanyar by scoring 488 marks out of 500.

All the first 10 seven positions in Home Science stream have been bagged by girl students of government schools. The first three positions are bagged by three students of government girls HSS Kothibagh.

Sabeera Rashid has scored 490 out of 500, Momina Amin scored 483 and Roh Un Nisa Mir scored 482 marks out of 500.

In Arts stream, the first 10 positions have been shared by 21 girl students including 11 from government schools.

The first position is bagged by Khushboo Nazir of government girls HSS Bijbehara who has obtained 500 marks out of 500.

The 2nd position and 3rd positions have been bagged by Faarizah Saleem Zargar, Fatima Noor and Muteeba Bilal of Green Valley HSS Ellahi Bagh Srinagar by scoring 497 marks and 495 marks out of 500.
