General Administration Department (GAD) today ordered transfer and posting of 51 Junior Scale KAS officers.
As per the order, sanction has been accorded to placement ofJunior Scale 51 KAS officers and officers of different departmental feedingservices in the Times Scales of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services onstop-gap bases in their own pay and grade.
These arrangements should not confer any right on incumbentsto claim preferential treatment for their promotion as and when the same ismade in accordance with the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir AdministrativeService Rules, 2008.
“These placements shall be without prejudice to the outcomeof writ petition, if any pending consideration before the court of competentjurisdiction. Hence, they were transferred,” the order reads.
