Bandipora 2nd most affected district with 762 active cases

With 59 fresh Covid19 cases on Tuesday, Bandipora in north Kashmir is the second most affected district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Witnessing an upsurge from ending July, the district has recorded 799 cases in the first 18 days of August, which includes 9 deaths, including a 40-year old doctor from Sumbal.

   

The active positive tally of the district now stands at 762 from a total of 1535 COVID19 cases. Among the cases, 751 have recovered including 6 on Tuesday.

In Kashmir division, Srinagar tops the list with 1396 active cases followed by Bandipora which has 762 cases, while as Jammu district in Jammu division tops with 739 active cases followed by Samba and Reasi with 175 active cases in each district.
