Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) at Zakura area of city outskirts on late Tuesday night. Police said that the operation was launched on the basis of an information regarding presence of militants in the area.
“Searches are underway, but so far no contact has been established. More reinforcements have been rushed to the spot and cordon has been further tightened,” police said.
