CRPF chief commends COVID warriors in Kashmir

Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Dr. Anand Prakash Maheshwari, who is on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, felicitated and expressed  gratitude to medicos for their service to the countrymen.

During a function at RTC Srinagar, the DG CRPF felicitated Director SKIMS Prof AG Ahangar, Dr. Ghulam Hassan Yatoo, Nodal officer for coronavirus control at SKIMS, Dr. Bashir Ahmad, HOD Microbiology SKIMS and Dr. Suneem Khan for leading the fight against the COVID19 and providing quality treatment to Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs).

   

The CRPF chief convened gratitude on behalf of the Prime Minister of India, Home Minister and all CAPFs to these doctors for their selfless services to the nation, a statement here said.

He lauded the role of these doctors for providing the quality treatment to countrymen during this toughest phase which the world is facing due to pandemic COVID.

On the occasion, Director SKIMS, Prof AG Ahangar, Dr.Yatoo and Dr. Bashir Ahmad were felicitated with a DG’s commendation medal, citation and a shawl.

Dr Suneem Khan, Medical Officer, Srinagar Sector CRPF was felicitated with a memento for the best service.

It is pertinent to mention that CRPF during this COVID is providing healthcare facilities to all CAPFs in Kashmir.

On this occasion, Director SKIMS said that SKIMS will live to its expectation of being the premier healthcare institution in the country and provide all best quality healthcare facilities to the countrymen.

The DG CRPF felicitated the COVID warriors in presence of ADG OPS Directorate General, Sanjay Arora, IGP Kashmir (OPS), Deepak Ratan,  IGP Srinagar sector,  Charu Sinha, ADG JK Zone, Zulfiquar Hassan.
